The Little Brown Stein stays in Montana as the Grizzlies got back on track with a solid win against the Idaho Vandals. And as it turned out there was quite a few takeaways we wanted to chat about. The offense showed great improvement, there are still a lot of costly errors, and the defense appeared to be back to it’s dominant ways. Beyond that there was plenty to cover from the officiating, the lack of replay, the atmosphere, beer sales in the Kibbie Dome, and the woes of the Idaho faithful.
We then shift gears to look around the conference. Weber pulled off a major upset against Eastern Washington, the crazy box score from ISU vs MSU, and Sac appears to be rolling. With just 4 weeks left of regular conference play it’s also time to start looking at the very murky Big Sky Conference playoff picture.
After that we strap on the oxygen tanks, get the scuba masks, and get below the surface waters of the upcoming Southern Utah game. SUU’s stats aren’t great but they’ve put a few scares into teams, we go over their season so far, and what to expect. Brint also updates us on his planned tailgate spread for this weekend. And finally, as always, we finish with all of the fan questions that piled up on egriz and twitter.
